I'm wasted

From waiting around

that should bother

my thoughts...

my sorrows...

and increase

the energy that

already subsides.

Quietly fading

Into the darkness...

the things that I felt

for you

are still trembling

deep within my soul,

within my heart...

yearning for you to change....

But you won't.

It's a fading dream...

or a never ending nightmare

however cruel that may seem.

Sleep finally sets in,
It has awaited
and I have given in.
