My mind echoes a time
When I truly believed
in people.

In you.

Now, it is just
a faded memory
a past time -

A lost dream.

For you have
destroyed my innocence
as well as my mind.

What would you do
If your heart was torn in two?

Two different people,
Two different lives,
Two different loves,
One of them attached,
One in love with you.

Would you cry?
Scream?
Tell lies?
So that you could keep them both?

Not me.

For I want neither.
